Anne Marie, Fr. White, Brenda, Chris, Christina, Jonathan
Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Anne Marie Quiroz. has a lot of offer UVM students in her first year as a FOCUS missionary. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in catechetics, concentrating in youth ministry. She enjoys frolicking through the field with goats and playing “beyond the wardrobe.” She takes pleasure in the Harry Potter book series, the movie Newsies, and Jack Johnson’s music.
A native of Bennington, Vermont, Father Dan White serves as Chaplain for the Catholic Center at UVM. He was ordained a priest on June 5, 2004, and is enterning his third year serving students at the Catholic Center. Fr. Dan has three brothers.
Foley, Minnesota’s own Brenda Maurer returns to UVM this year as team director. She graduated from St. Mary’s University with degrees in psychology and Spanish. Springtime and The New Feminism both catch her interest. Brenda enjoys listening to Matt Maher, reading Pride and Prejudice, and watching Gilmore Girls and Enchanted.
Massachusetts’ favorite son, Chris True, returns to UVM for his second year as a FOCUS missionary. A graduate of Seton Hall University, Chris holds a degree in biology. He spends most of his time rockin’ out and exploring. He loves nearly all sports, especially Red Sox baseball. When in front of the tube, his programs of choice include Home Improvement and Lost.
From Virginia to Vermont comes Christina Hudson, a first-year FOCUS missionary, poised to take UVM by storm. A fan of fun and sports, Christina loves kicking back with a good episode of Friends or a copy of The Hidden Power of Kindness. Her favorite Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 9:24, reminds us: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”
Leaving behind the “Factory Tour Capitol of the World,” York, Pennsylvania for Burlington, Jonathan Teixeira is ready for his first year of missoinary work with FOCUS. He graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in English. He enjoys poetry, anagrams, and the Chicago Cubs. Jonathan loves spicy food and fresh lemonade. You might find him dancing bhangra, driving at night on lit highways, or telling jokes.

I registered the name sometime around eighth grade, and thought it was silly then. It's still a little silly, and rather easy to remember, too. Besides, every other website name I want is already taken.
